The XV International Congress of the association “Discepoli d'Auguste Escoffier” was held in Sicily, precisely in Sciacca, from 19 to 22 October.

On October 19, the owner of Sicilian Food Shop Mariano Macaluso received the blue scarf as an operator of excellence in the Sicilian food and wine sector.

On Saturday 21 October, Sicilian Food Shop and some of our excellent suppliers in our area offered a Palermo street food style lunch at the Giardino degli Aranci in Monreale, Palermo province.

 

The following companies participated with great success from the international public:

1) The best of Street Food, with Pane ca Meusa, bread with Panelle and Cazzilli, Arancine and Palermo salad.
2) Cantine Pepi of Mazzarrone offered its best native wines: Eore - Cerasuolo di Vittoria and Agate - Frappato.
3) Birrificio Mastro 25 Principe di Guarrato of Trapani offered two of its amazing craft beers.
4) Finally, the artisanal Panettoni with Pistachio, Mandarin and Modica Chocolate offered by Pasì pasticceria siciliana.
