The present general conditions of sale (hereinafter, "General Conditions") have as their object the regulation of the purchase of products and services, carried out remotely and made available, via the Internet, by the site www.sicilianfoodshop.com (hereinafter, the “Site”) in compliance with Italian legislation pursuant to Legislative Decree 206/2005 and subsequent amendments and additions (hereinafter, the “Consumer Code”).
Sicilian Food Shop is an online store created and managed by Bloweb di Mariano Macaluso, with registered office in Palermo - Capaci, via Primo Carnera, 2 - VAT number 06636120823, owner of the “SicilianFoodShop” trademark and the portal www.sicilianfoodshop.com.
The consumer who accesses the Site to make purchases (hereinafter “Customer”) is required, before sending the order, to carefully read these General Conditions, which have been made available to him on the Site and which will be available to the Customer at any time also through the link contained in the confirmation email of each order to allow him to reproduce and store them.

Bloweb is solely responsible for managing refunds and chargebacks in cases where they are legitimately requested.

In the case of handcrafted products, if the production times of the Product are longer than those indicated by Bloweb, the latter will immediately communicate the new deadline to the purchasing user via the appropriate messaging system of the Platform. The purchasing user will decide, giving evidence to Bloweb, whether:

Sending the order

Prices

Payment methods

Billing
The User agrees to receive invoices and credits exclusively in electronic format. For the issuance of the invoice, or the fiscal receipt, the information provided by the User at the time of ordering will be valid. The fiscal document will be sent by Bloweb in electronic format. No changes will be possible after the fiscal document (invoice or receipt) has been issued. Delivery

Shipping is subject to charges and, unless otherwise specified, is the responsibility of the User. The amount of delivery costs is calculated based on the total of the cart. The products purchased on the Site will be delivered to the address indicated by the User during the purchase procedure. Receiving perishable products
In the transport sector, perishable food products are a category of goods subject to restrictions or cases of exclusion depending on the type of service and/or destination, especially for destinations with customs.
All couriers say they do not transport perishable food products (short shelf life, without added preservatives). However, they are accepted with exclusion of liability, in case the goods deteriorate causing delays in delivery.
Below is an indicative list:
- Fresh products with an expiry date of less than 5 days
- Fresh meat;
- Fresh fish
- Fresh shellfish
- Fresh dairy products such as: pasteurized milk, cheeses (crescenza, spreadable, robiola, mozzarella, etc.),
- yogurt,
- Egg products (yolk, egg white and mixed liquids) from the refrigerated counter
- Packaged fresh vegetable products (salads, vegetable soups, portioned fruit, juices, smoothies, etc.)
- Sliced charcuterie products
- Pastry products with cream and/or cream fillings and fresh pastry preparations
- Frozen and deep-frozen.
Based on these indications, we can ship fresh or frozen goods only in special isothermal boxes that guarantee long-term protection, in any case not exceeding 48 hours.
The responsibility for any deterioration of fresh or frozen goods due to the delay of the courier cannot be attributed to Bloweb.
By accepting this document, the customer is aware that neither the courier nor Bloweb can be held responsible for delays that may cause the deterioration of the products and accepts the responsibility unconditionally.
Any report beyond the aforementioned terms and/or through means other than those indicated above will not be taken into consideration. For each declaration, the User assumes full responsibility for what is declared.
Once the courier's document has been signed, the User will not be able to raise any objection regarding the external characteristics of what was delivered and the number of packages received.
Failure to deliver
The Manufacturer or Bloweb are not liable in any way for any delivery errors resulting from inaccuracies or omissions made by the User in completing the purchase order, nor for any damages or delays occurring after delivery to the courier if the latter has been appointed by the User.
The user is required to report any particular characteristics relating to the place of delivery of the Product and/or its location, by inserting a note to the order, in the appropriate space made available to him at the end of the purchase process and before sending the order. In the event that he does not provide such information or provides incorrect information, any additional costs that Bloweb must bear to complete the delivery of the Product will be borne by the User.
Purchase of alcoholic and spirit products
Products such as wines, liqueurs, bitters, beer and all those that are part of the alcoholic and spirits categories are intended for sale exclusively to an adult audience who is over 18 years of age.
Provision of services
The purchased service will be performed or made available within the times indicated on sicilianfoodshop.com or according to the methods communicated before the order is sent.
Right of withdrawal
Pursuant to art. 59 of Legislative Decree 21/2014, the right of withdrawal is excluded in the following cases:

- order of sealed Products which are not suitable for return for hygiene or health protection reasons or which have been opened after delivery.
With reference to the cases of exclusion of the withdrawal listed above, the Customer, in particular, is informed and accepts that among the Products that "risk deteriorating or expiring rapidly" are included all food products (including wines, spirits and beverages), as the characteristics and qualities of these types of products are subject to alteration also as a result of inappropriate storage.
Therefore, for reasons of hygiene and protection of Customers, the right of withdrawal is not applicable for food products (including wines, spirits and beverages), but is applicable only for products purchased on the site that can be returned to the respective suppliers and put back on the market without danger to the health of consumers (such as books, gadgets, kitchen utensils, etc.).
