Produced by   Mandra di Mezzo Dairy   with pure sheep's milk, Marsala sea salt and the intense Sicilian sun, this dry ricotta offers a compact consistency and a more intense flavour than fresh ricotta.

How Salted Sheep Ricotta Is Made

Obtained from the   twice cooked whey   ("Ri-Cotta"), salted ricotta undergoes a slow natural dehydration process that eliminates 80% of the liquids, giving you a unique product to grate. Unlike traditional cheeses, it is   without preservatives or additives , made only with genuine ingredients and milk from pasture-raised sheep.

In the Kitchen: Versatile and Full of Flavor

Perfect for the   Pasta alla Norma , salads and vegetables, salted ricotta is also suitable for accompanying cold cuts and enriching traditional recipes. Available in   two formats (150g and 350g) , it is vacuum-packed for a   optimal storage in the refrigerator .
