From Frappato grapes, left to dry in the sun until reaching the desired concentration, this great sweet wine is born, with an intense color, with violet and purple reflections. On the nose it is rich and broad, with hints of plums and candied fruit, wrapped in balsamic notes and Mediterranean scrub.

Its natural sweetness marries a hint of acidity, giving it a great balance between sun and earth.
If a wine is able to connect earth and sky, it means it has achieved its purpose. The depth and elegance of this passito let a seductive note emerge, a softness that drags, close to the warmth of an embrace.
Tasting it, aromas of plums and both red and black fruit appear, accompanied by balsamic notes that recall the Mediterranean scrub and the presence of the sea.
To obtain the frappato di passito, the shoot is cut and the grapes are left to dry on the plant. Fermentation takes place in small open containers with daily punching down. The late harvest begins around the third ten days of October.
The aging capacity reaches five years.
Origin : Hills around Licodia Eubea, in the extreme south-eastern edge of Sicily

Harvest : Second/third week of October, based on the degree of concentration achieved
Vinification : Fermentation in small open containers, with delicate daily punching down
Alcohol content : 13/13.5% vol
Color : Intense color, with purple and violet reflections
