The 100% Sicilian Wild Cardoon Paté (Cynara Cardunculus) is a true excellence of the Sicilian gastronomy of the Nebrodi. Produced with native plants of the local soil, the wild cardoon paté is, like the 100% Sicilian wild fennel pesto, rich in healing properties for the body that derive from the same plant.
A powerful liver cleanser, Sicilian wild cardoon has a bitter taste, but is excellent both blanched with olive oil and lemon, or fried in a batter in plenty of oil.
