The olives of the Giarraffa cultivar, also known as Gioconda, are offered by Sicilian Food Shop in a convenient 500g vacuum-packed bag after being sweetened according to our sweetening technique, removing most of the salt, without adding any seasoning.
Naturally dry bagged to avoid liquid leaks during transport, to bring to your table the true authentic flavour of this variety of Sicilian "Giarraffa" olives, ready to eat as they are or season as you like.
For our tastes they are fine like this, but if for your tastes they should still be salty, before seasoning them just leave them to soak in fresh water for a few more days.
