Terra e cielo - Passito di Frappato wine Sicilian lands IGP HoReCa - Cantine Pepi

From the Frappato grapes, left to dry in the sun, until the desired concentration is reached, this great sweet wine of intense color, with purple and purple reflections is born. The nose is rich and broad, with hints of plums and candied fruit, wrapped in balsamic notes and Mediterranean scrub.

Its natural sweetness is combined with a vein of acidity, giving it great balance between sun and earth

If a wine is capable of binding earth and sky it means that it has achieved its purpose. The depth and elegance of this passito leave a seductive note to emerge, a softness that draws, close to the warmth of an embrace.

Tasting it, aromas of plums and both red and black fruit appear, accompanied by balsamic notes reminiscent of the Mediterranean scrub and the presence of the sea.

To obtain the passito frappato, the branch is cut and the grapes are left to dry on the vine. Fermentation takes place in small open containers with daily punching down. The late harvest begins around the third decade of October.

The aging capacity reaches five years.
