Eore Of Pepi Cellars it's a Cerasuolo di Vittoria DOCG that embodies the essence of Sicily in a glass. Of a intense cherry red , this wine fascinates the nose with notes of raspberries and floral nuances , while the taste reveals itself complex, savoury and lively , with fine tannins and a pleasant freshness.
The separate processing of the Black d'Avola and of the Frappato allows each grape variety to express its identity: the first gives structure and spices, the second elegance and fragrance. Origin : Hills around Licodia Eubea, in the extreme south-eastern edge of Sicily
Vineyards : Facing east, in the Dirillo river valley, with a cool microclimate, marked by strong temperature variations
Grape variety : Nero d'Avola and Frappato, as per DOCG regulations
Training system : Simple Guyot espalier
Harvest : Second half of September
Vinification : Destemming and fermentation in steel at 26°\28° C, maceration on the skins for 10\12 days and malolactic fermentation in stainless steel
Alcohol content : 13/13.5% vol
Color : Very intense cherry red
Aroma : Notes of raspberries and delicate floral nuances
Taste : Complex, savoury, warm but at the same time fresh and lively, with a good consistency and fine, chalky tannins
Aging potential : 5/7 years
