Its unmistakable scent and aroma is enclosed in the memory of millions of breakfasts and snacks consumed by generations of young people and adults in Palermo in 1966.
It all started thanks to the idea of a baker from Palermo, Filippo Lo Piccolo, a man with a great passion for Sicilian biscuits!
His dream was to bring a simple but delicious shortbread to the tables of all Sicilians, to be eaten every day by dipping it in a cup of hot milk. It was 1969 when Filippo created the original recipe for Frolsi, Sicilian biscuits, using seven molds with unique shapes that have contributed to making the history of the Sicilian biscuit. The project of the most popular Sicilian shortbread biscuits was then expanded and carried forward over time by Filippo's sons, creating a line of Sicilian shortbread biscuits distributed throughout Sicily. If before breakfast consisted only of fresh bread and milk, thanks to Filippo Lo Piccolo the habit of having breakfast with milk and Sicilian biscuits was born in Sicily!
